Historic overview:
The whole Manchurian operation began very quietly. On the night of the 18th September 1931 came close to the railway station, Liu Tiao-kchou, lying north of Mukden, a small explosion. Among the night sounds practically disappeared, so none of the commanders of the local Chinese staff paid no attention. They believed this was related to frequent clashes of Japanese troops with khunkhuz bandits. Meanwhile, the barracks of the Chinese 7th Infantry Brigade, commanded by a former Changs general Wang, quietly approached the freight train. For the Chinese guards, this meant that apparently waiting for the signal to run, so he paid no attention. At midnight on 19th September 1931 opened the doors of freight cars and in them occurred tubes of Japanese cannons and machine guns aiming the barracks. When the lights went out in the barracks, which was a sign that the troops are already on the beds, four of Japanese cannons sent deadly salutes to sleeping Chinese ...
