Completely new scenario. Occupation of eastern part of Vichy Syria.

Historic overview:

Operation codename: Exporter
The forcible occupation of Vichy Levant (the common name for the French Syria and Lebanon), Operation Exporter, the British command decided on growing fears of German presence and influence in Syria. Relations between British and Vichy worsened particularly during the Arab uprising in Iraq, where the French allowed the Germans to use the airports in Syria to stop and refuel German planes supporting the Arab rebels. The German planes had been withdrawal from bases of the Syria after the suppression of the insurgency in Iraq, however, the British had already decided to attack.
British and 10th Indian Division (Gen. Slim) marched against Syria from Iraq. 1st July began advance of 10th Indian Division which captured ranked Daj az-Zor on 3rd July. Unit Habforce started from Iraq to Syria proceeding along the main oil pipeline 21st June and two days later reached Fort Palmyra. Its garrison surrendered after a prolonged defense 3rd July. 9th July Habforce passed to the city of Homs (Hims), General Dentz then applied on behalf Vichy forces for ceasefire.

May 14, 1936: Britain - Field Marshal Edmund Allenby, one of the best World War I Allied commanders, dies in London. He led British troops in the fight against the Ottoman Empire in Africa and Asia, and eventually taking complete control of key areas in the Middle East (especially Palestine and Syria).
June 23, 1941: Over Vichy Syria - flying the D.520, French fighter pilot Pierre Le Gloan shoots down Hurricane, his fifth British plane in Syria campaign. After 11 victories in Fall of France campaign in 1940, he bacames the only flier of WW2 who managed to be fighter ace for both Allied and Axis side.
July 3, 1941: In Vichy French Syria... Deir el Zor falls to the troops from 10th Indian Division. The fort at Palmyra surrenders to Habforce after a long defense.
April 15, 1946: Syria - The last French troops withdraw from the territory and the Syrian Republic is formed.
