This scenario was not in PacG. It was created by German authur Dirk Cremer already in 1998. We used only map with some corrections - added coral reef, corrected shape of islands, deleted non-existing land etc. Units was newly replaced according matter of fact from PacPG equipment. This sceanrio show a second, this time successful, attempt to conquer Wake.

Historic overview:

... Quite differently evolved attempt to conquer Wake Atoll situated in the middle of Pacific ocean between Guam and Midway. Japanese faced here to unexpected strong resistance and suffered its first setback in the otherwise victorious campaign in the initial period of war. (Ivan Hrbek, Jaroslav Hrbek - Krvavé oceány, Naše vojsko 1994)

Wake Island was occupied in 23 December 1941 afted the second attempt. The island was then renamed Otori Shima.
